This is a nice example of the rare 6 x 9 inch, 112 page illustrated soft cover book ,,Kochen im Krieg’’ (Cooking in War Time) by well-known German chef Franz Ruhm as published by Ruhm Verlag in Wien (Vienna, the second largest city in Adolf Hitler’s Grossdeutschland) in 1940.
Gulaschkanone Eintopf
The book contains dozens of recipes, two or three per page, for delicious stuff in quantities for four people. In addition to the excellent war time recipes, there are many very nice Kora, Hinterleitner and Fritch cartoon illustrations of cooks in various comic situations. Very good condition.
