The second Third Reich cap tally on this web page an absolutely original, beautifully woven cap tally or ribbon of the sort worn on the “Donald Duck” style caps of sailors in the Kriegsmarine, but a smaller version made to be worn on the Donald Duck cap of a child. As in America, small children’s military uniforms were very popular in Germany during World War II. It is woven with the name of the ship D. Berlin in gold between a Nazi swastika flag and the flag of North German Lloyd Lines. The black silk-like ribbon is 1-1/4 inches wide x 22 inches long and is in good used condition.

The top cap tally is from the cap of a crew member of the Hamburg-America Line ship MILWAUKEE which sailed out of Hamburg between 1935 and 1945. The ship was destroyed by fire after World War II while in the hands of the British government.
The black silk-like ribbon is 1-3/8 inches wide x 34 inches long and is in excellent condition.
