NAazi passport - Deutsches Reich Reisepass
There are four versions of standard Reisepässe or passports dating back to the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler. The earliest type (Type 1) had a Weimar eagle on the front cover but Nazi eagle and swastika stamps on the inside. By May of 1936, the standard Reisepass (Type 2) had the Weimar eagle replaced with a Hoheitszeichen (eagle and swastika) between the words Deutsches Reich and ReisepassLater, (Type 3) the Hoheitszeichen had been moved to the top of the front cover and there was a passport serial number stamped all the way through the front and back covers and the internal 32 pages. Type 4 (not shown) did away with the perforated numbers and had the passport number printed at the bottom of the front cover and on each subsequent page making it much more difficult to counterfeit. They were all identical in that each page had a alteration disclosing background, they all contained the same data, and all were issued by the Polizeipräsident or Head of the Police.

1936 Deutsches Reich Reisepass
1936 NAZI PASSPORT BAVARIAN FARMER
Nazi passport Kaspar Schinnagl
Kufstein border stamps 1936
Kaspar Schinnagl, Hub 26 April 1917
This original Deutsches Reich Reisepass or German National Passport was issued to a young farmer called Kaspar Schinnagl who was born in the rural Bavarian hamlet of Hub, southeast of Munich on 26 April 1917. The young man had brown eyes and black hair according to the personal information on page 3 of this 4-3/8 x 6-1/2 inch, 32-page Nazi passport. Reisepass Nr. 252 was issued by the Bezirksamt (District Office) in the town of Ebersberg, east of Munich, on 5 October 1936 and was valid for five years and travel inside and outside Nazi Germany.
The day after he obtained this passport, Kaspar Schinnagl traveled to Kufstein in Austria. The passport contains Bavarian and Austrian border crossing stamps and it looks like he only stayed one day! It is interesting to note that less than two years later, Kaspar Schinnagl would not have needed a passport for this trip anymore as Austria had become a part of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany.
The original 2-1/8 x 2-1/2 inch (53 x 62 mm) tall ID photo shows young Schinnagl wearing his finest Tyrolean jacket and vest, and clutching a tall shepherd stick with his right hand. Note he is wearing a hat (complete with Edelweiss pin and Gamsbart plume) which was technically illegal for Third Reich ID photos!

This fine 85 year old Nazi passport has all the correct eagle and swastika rubber stamps. It is complete and in very nice condition.

On the internet we found that the Schinnagl name is still common in that part of Bavaria.
1938 Deutsches Reich Reisepass GETRUD JONAS BERLIN
ORIGINAL 1938 NAZI REISEPASS
OR TRAVEL PASSPORT OF A LADY
FROM BERLIN WHO TRAVELED
TO ITALY IN DECEMBER 1938
WITH HER DAUGHTER
The 4-3/8 x 6-1/2 inch, 32-page passport issued by the Head of Police of Berlin-Altglienicke was valid for five years and Mrs. Jonas used it for travel to Italy with her daughter. She purchased hotel vouchers for a total of 200 Reichsmarks and 150 Reichsmarks worth of credit for herself and her daughter at the official Italian State Travel Agency in Berlin for the month of December 1938.
This original Deutsches Reich Reisepass or German National Passport belonged to Berta Getrud Wilhelmina Jonas (née Dolling), born in Berlin on 27 June 1898. When it was issued she had been living in Berlin-Altglienicke since 1935, a town famous for the Glienicke Bridge, used for the exchange of captured spies during the Cold War.

When passport number 133R/4/38 was issued on 29 November 1938, Getrud Jonas was 40 years old, had dark blond hair, brown eyes and an oval face, and she was the mother of an 8-year old daughter, Brigitte.
The passport has the original ID photo of Getrud Jonas, with the correct eagle and swastika rubber stamps and original Third Reich rivets. The nearly 80+ year old Nazi Reisepass is in very nice condition.
