This is a great example of a standard one-piece die-struck steel Nazi belt buckle for a policeman in unissued condition. Like all Nazi painted buckles, the silver paint is notoriously thin but the only wear to this one is shelf wear and the wear it encountered on the way home from Europe in the possession of an American GI.
It is in very good condition with minimal wear on the high spots as shown in our excellent photos.

This Nazi police belt buckle and the Nazi police shako plate we recently sold came from the widow of the veteran who brought them home from World War II in Europe and we think they came from unused inventory and were never issued. They have never been in the hands of a dealer until now.
