Lot 197a - right and below, this Official Olympia-Postkarte published by the Reichssportverlag in Berlin shows Japanese Olympic gold medal winner Naoto Tajima in action in the triple jump (he also set a new world record). The Third Reich card measures 91 x 141 mm and has a special 6+4 Pfennig Olympische Spiele postage stamp featuring a soccer player on it which was canceled at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on 15 August 1936 before it was mailed to somebody in Vienna (see below).
Lot 189 - left, an unused original 104 x 147 mm Nazi postcard produced to be mailed from the Olympic Village (Dorf) by Olympic athletes participating in the 1936 Summer Olympics at Berlin. It was never mailed but does have two Olympisches Dorf cancelations dated 11 August 1936.
