This is the historic Issue 1 of Nationalpolitische Aufklärungsschriften, a 1936 Nazi propaganda publication outlining the National Socialist Weltanschauung or "World Philosophy". The 6 x 8-½ inch, softcover 32 page publication by Heinz Oskar Schaefer was published by Im Propaganda-Verlag Paul Hochmuth of Berlin in 1936. Inside the front cover it is clearly mentioned that it came with the official recommendation of the Nazi Party and its affiliated organizations.

The text covers the Foundation of the New Germany with Hitler as its Führer (Leader), Allegiance to National Socialism and breaking with old traditional powers, Jews and Freemasons ("Destroyers of the Nation"), Communist Lunacy, the National Socialist Revolution that resulted in the New National Socialist State, Blut und Boden, National Socialist Education, and the New German Citizen.

This is a rare original and rather politically incorrect example of Issue 9 of Nationalpolitische Aufklärungsschriften, a 1937 Nazi propaganda publication outlining German Colonies and their importance to the Third Reich. The 6 x 8-½ inch, softcover 32 page publication is called Deutsche Kolonien - Die Forderung des dritten Reiches by J. Appel was published by Propaganda-Verlag Paul Hochmuth of Berlin in 1937.

Chapters cover the location of colonies of Germany, Great Britain, the USA, France, Holland, Portugal, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Japan. This is followed by information and statistics about raw materials and commodities produced in these colonies, as well as their value to the economy of the ‘mother countries’, mandated territories and their administration, the impact of the Treaty of Versailles on Allied and German colonies, National Socialism and colonial politics, responsible leadership of primitive people, a new approach to the colonial idea, etc.

The back page lists the German and English source material used in this rare Nazi educational publication as well as a list of other Third Reich Nationalpolitische Aufklärungsschriften published, two of them listed on this USMBOOKS web page as well.

The text covers the Führer's Weltanschauung or "Philosophy of the World", his early fellow Nazis and the Kampfzeit, the development of the NSDAP, the SA, the 1923 Putsch and Hitler's subsequent trial, the battle for National Socialist votes in the late1920s, the important elections in January 1933, 21 March 1933 "The Day in Potsdam" (the new Parliament of Germany), and the last date is 15 September 1935 when the Hakenkreuzfahne, or the Nazi swastika flag became Germany's national flag.
