This is a very nicely made accreditation certificate issued by the Nazi Industrie- und Handelskammer (Chamber of Commerce) of Wien, Germany (now Vienna, Austria) on 31 October 1940 stating that 18 year old Walter Fromm had satisfactorily completed his apprenticeship in sales with the Firma Franz Wörndl located on Goldschmiedgasse 10 in Wien.
These hard bound, dark blue linen covered certificates with gold blocking on the cover are understated yet attractive Third Reich identity documents and this one is in superb condition. It measures 4-1/2 x 6 inches and opens up to about twice that size. It comes with Walter Fromm's employee insurance card issued on 7 January 1940 listing his occupation as salesman. It has one due stamp dating 31 January 1941. We suspect his sales career was cut short due to service in the Wehrmacht!
