The condition of this old piece is very good and we have pressed into a piece of dampened leather which we have photographed so that any potential buyer can see what the image produced by the die looks like.

We have no idea about the origins of this die other than to say the image became very unpopular after 1945 so we suspect that it is easily over 70 years old.
