This is an absolutely original Nazi sword hanger of the sort used to carry the swords of Army and Navy Officers on full dress uniforms.
The unmarked leather hanger has a loop to accomodate a belt of about 25 mm (1 inch) in width. The very high-quality solid brass spring clip is not maker marked but has a pebble finish on the outside and the letters DRGM stamped into the back side.
The leather on this item is moderately hard but the piece is ideal for a static display.
