Kriegsflugzeuge is Heft 11 (Booklet 11) in the series Luftfahrt (Aviation) produced by Lehrmeister-Bücherei. This booklet on War Planes is by Herbert Sennwitz and has 15 pictures.
The Foreword explains that after the small role war planes played during World War I, civil aviation in Germany expanded with the founding of Deutsche Lufthansa in the mid 1920s. After the National Socialists were elected to power in 1933, and in the framework of the rebuilding of the Wehrmacht , the Luftwaffe became its own entity under the leadership of Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring. Its importance grew and the Luftwaffe would play an important role in “the modern war”.

The output and power of Stukas and other military planes is explained, and there are period pictures of the Dornier Do 17 flying over military exercises at the Tag der Wehrmacht at the Nazi Party Days in Nuremberg, a Focke-Wulf helicopter, Junkers Ju 87, Dornier Do 18 and Do 22, Messerschmitt Me 109, Blohm & Voß Ha 140, Heinkel airplanes, all on the ground and in action.
The last chapter is about post World War I aviation progress in foreign countries, while “Germany was unable to participate due to the Treaty of Versailles”. In the back of the 4-5/8 x 6-1/2 inch softcover book is advertising for other practical and educational publications by Lehrmeister-Bücherei.

Published by Verlag Hachmeister & Thal of Leipzig, Kriegsflugzeuge is undated but probably dates to 1940. It is complete and in good used condition, no odor.
This 48-page 80+ year old publication explains the different types of airplanes, from bombers to pursuit planes, reconnaissance planes, sea planes, helicopters, and the formation of the air force using technical information and experience gained.
