| This is an excellent original single-sided A4 size letter on the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei embossed letterhead of the staff of the Stellvertreter des Führers (Deputy to the Führer) at the Braunes Haus in München. The letter was written to the Reichsführer-SS und Chef der Deutschen Polizei Heinrich Himmler at his Prinz Albrecht Straße 8 in Berlin, Germany.
The letter dated 17 February 1941 accompanied an application from a Frau Theresa Klima of Wien (Vienna) who wished to be given a government visa for travel to Italy. It was smart of Mrs. Klima, probably a Nazi Party member, to send her request for a visit to the NSDAP in München because someone on the Führers staff forwarded it to Himmler asking that the request be processed as quickly as possible. |

| The rectangular rubber stamp (shown right) in the upper right quarter bearing the date 20 February 1941 is the very rare receiving stamp of Reichsführer-SS und Chef der Deutschen Polizei. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| There is no doubt that the visa was granted because the purple rectangular stamp in the center of the letter dated 22 February 1941 is the stamp of the highest police official in Wien - the Reichsstatthalter - to whom the visa was sent for Mrs. Klima. Very rare Nazi police material in excellent condition. |
