This is a nice original example of the 5-3/4 x 8 inch, 112 page very heavily illustrated soft cover book Olympische Kunstausstellung Berlin 15. Juli - 16. August 1936 (Olympic Art Exhibit Berlin 15 July through 16 August 1936) as published under the auspices of the Führer Adolf Hitler.

This catalog covers the entire international Olympic art exhibition held in Hall VI of the exhibition grounds on Kaiserdamm in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

It is made in the style of the art exhibition books for the Grossdeutsche Kunstausstellung at the House of German Art in München (Munich) with a plan of the exhibit rooms, list of the artists by country, and a nice selection of pictures of the art itself.

Few people know that there even was an art exhibition held in connection with the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin or that the exhibition catalog is only rarely offered for sale. This 71 year old Nazi exhibition catalog is complete and in nice original used condition.
