| We can say without question that this huge two-volume set of books contains more information about Third Reich Germany than any other source available. The books have listings, photographs and information for virtually every town and city in the Großdeutschland of Adolf Hitler. |

| The first volume is the 10th edition of 1 March 1938, complete with all the full-color maps tipped-in inside the front cover. The second volume is the 1938 update published after the annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland (a part of Czechoslovakia since 1918) to the German Reich. |

The first of the two hardcover books measures about 9 x 12 inches, is over 2-1/4 inches thick and weighs about 9 pounds. It contains thousands of photos on its 1400 very heavily illustrated pages. The second of the two hardcover books measures about 9 x 12 inches, is over 1-1/4 inches thick and weighs about 4 pounds. It contains thousands of photos on its 450 very heavily illustrated pages (the first 28 pages - introduction and alphabetical index - are missing from this book). The two volumes together cover 7500 places in Großdeutschland (Greater Germany) and contain over 5000 photographs! |

| These fabulous books are a little-known time capsule of Hitler’s Third Reich. There is information about highways, the Reichsautobahn, each of the various “lands” or states in Germany, lists of doctors and their clinics, a list of all the newspapers in Germany that had a travel section, and even a comprehensive overview of the Reichspost bus service providing scheduled transportation to even the tiniest towns. |

| The basic content of this set of books is a town-by-town, city-by-city list of everything there was to do or see in the Germany of Adolf Hitler. Each listing typically contains a brief overview of the history of the place, population and economic data, information about schools and famous citizens, industries, as well as the names and addresses and phone numbers of hotels and tourist attractions. The enormous detail contained in these books is absolutely amazing. |
