We bought a small quantity of these ring boxes overseas at least 30 years ago and have never found a use for them, so we decided to offer them for sale to people who might have a German ring they want to put in a box. Each box measures about 40 mm x 45 mm x 50 mm (1-½ x 1-¾ x 2 inches) and has a padded velvet slot in the bottom where a ring can be inserted. Inside the top is lined with satin and printed in gold with Adolf Berghofer, Haseggerstrasse 34 München, apparently a jeweler in the southern Bavarian city of Munich.
