This lot consists of the 10-1/2 x 15 inch very heavily illustrated 5 November 1939 issue of the ,,Stuttgarter Illustrierte’’ with a cover shot featuring the meeting between Adolf Hitler and Waffen-SS Obergruppenführer Sepp Dietrich in a steel helmet during the campaign in Poland, and the 5 July 1944 issue of ,,Die Wehrmacht’’ with a cover featuring four German Grenadiers defending “a couple of square meters of Normandy soil” during the Allied invasion.

Also featured are photographs of two ,,Untermenschen’’ (subhumans), one of which is British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, the flak defenses at Ploesti, Sea Lane Mines, U-Boats, action in Normandy, etc. Some nice ads.

Complete, hard to find and in very good condition.
