This is an excellent example of the Nazi State Sports badge in a miniature size for wear of the lapel by a woman who won it. The highly detailed 3/4 inch tall bronze pin back DRL badge comes with the 8-page booklet of requirements for women to win it as of 1 July 1935. The badge is marked on the back with the words WERNSTEIN JENA.
The 5-1/2 x 8-3/4 inch Das deutsche Reichssportabzeichen Bedingugnen für Frauen booklet has eight pages. Inside the booklet is a negative of a woman who appears to be standing with a dog outside a barbed wire topped fence around a German government facility of some kind.
