This is an absolutely original Third Reich triangular swastika pennant measuring about 8-½ inches wide by 28 inches long and has a white circle on each side measuring about 5-¾ inches.

The black swastika on each side is printed directly on the white cloth and the white cotton circles are sewed to red cotton cloth. The pennant is suspended by a triangular hanging cord reaching to about 11-½ inches above the top of the pennant.

As was often the case with captured Nazi flags and pennant, this one was used by some GI as a place to attach his collection of Nazi Day badges, insignia, medals, tinnies, WHW Abzeichen, etc. The GI did not ruin the pennant in any way but the holes in the cloth from some of the pins are still obvious. We scratched one of the holes lightly with our finger nail and the hole immediately became a lot less obvious and we think most would almost disappear if given that treatment.

A previous owner inserted a metal wire through the loop at the top and attached the hanging cord to it.
