This splendid folio consists of 24 combat photographs and illustrations printed on special 9-3/4 x 12-3/4 inch sheets of embossed art paper.
Armee Busch was named for its commander Generaloberst Ernst Busch, and played a huge part in the successful assaults by the German Wehrmacht on the countries of Holland, Luxembourg, Belgium and France in May 1940.
The carefully shot and selected images in this folio show General Busch and his Commander of course, as well as German combat soldiers doing what soldiers do, the wreckage at Dunkirk, German artillery on the English Channel, German troops marching at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, destroyed French tanks and equipment,
The 10 x 13 inch folio has a 4 inch Nazi eagle and swastika on the front panel above the title VON KAMPF UND SIEG DES DEUTSCHEN SOLDATEN (Battles and Victories of the German Soldier) and was published by the Propagandakompanie der Armee Busch in cooperation with Jupp Daehler in Berlin.
VON KAMPF UND SIEG DES DEUTSCHEN SOLDATEN is a very unusual Third Reich album of military prints, complete and in excellent condition.
Hitler with Busch, victorious German troops marching through Verdun, Fallschirmjaeger (paratroopers) having a cigarette in Holland, French troops surrendering, Maginot turrets, motorcycle troops, bombers going to England, etc.
