This is an excellent example of Westermann’s Generalkarte Nr. 10 depicting GROSZ-DEUTSCHLAND (Greater Germany) at at scale of 1=1500000. A wall size (30 x 37 inches) political map in several colors on heavy paper, it shows rivers, railways, canals, national and internal (Gau) borders, highways and even the Reichsautobahn.

For any serious student of
Nazi Germany or World War II history, this map is indispensable. It is small enough to fit on an office wall but large enough to include even very small cities and towns.

Third Reich Germany is depicted at near its apex of expansion including the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (formerly parts of Czechoslovakia), the Generalgouvernement (formerly part of Poland), as well as all of Austria and part of Yugoslavia.
This map is one of the
“Flemming” series of
maps published by printing
company Georg Westermann
of Braunschweig, Berlin and
Hamburg. The map folds
down to 7-1/2 x 9-1/4 inches
and is in very good original
condition.
