This is a bold, masculine style sterling silver finger ring stamped on the inside 835F (835 parts of silver in each 1000 parts of metal; a typical continental European silver content mark) made during the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler. It is NOT a reproduction or post-war copy of any kind. We purchased it in Munich, Germany from a Westwall veteran.
On the face of the ring is a relief image of the Westwall (Siegfried Line) bunkers with mountains and an aircraft in the background. Each side has a spray of oak leaves and on the left the word WEST, and on the right the word WALL.
The finger hole in the ring measures 20 mm in diameter (approximately 13/16 of an inch). Beautifully done and though worn it is in very good used condition.
