This absolutely original 86 year old Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen Mitgliedskarte is in very good condition.

This is an original membership ID for the Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen (DRL or German Physical Exercise Association), the official governing body of amateur sport in the Third Reich Germany. The 4-1/4 x 5-7/8 inch blue linen covered ID booklet has the embossed eagle and swastika of the DRL on the cover.

Karl Treichler, born 9 June 1890 in the city of Mainz and this Nazi sport ID was issued to him on 1 September 1937. He paid membership dues from 1937 through 1939. His original ID photo (complete with Hitler mustache) is correctly overstamped by the sport club he was a member of, M.R. Cl. 1903.

This original 83+ year old DRL identity document is in very nice condition.

This is an original 3-½ x 5-¼ inch, four-panel gray card stock membership ID for the Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen (DRL or German Physical Exercise Association), the official governing body of amateur sport during the Third Reich in Nazi Germany. Mitgliedskarte Nr. 057539/XIII was issued to Otto Wendel on 1 October 1935. He lived on Adolf Hitler Street in Gerolsheim, a small town near Worms and Mannheim where he was a member of the gymnastics club.

The cover (panel 1, left) has the DRL eagle and swastika at the top and a facsimile signature of Reichssportführer Hans von Tschammer und Osten at the bottom.
