Der Führer zu deiner Verpflichtung (The Leader [Hitler] Regarding Your Obligation) is a 5 x 7-½ inch, 16-page publication for Hitler Youth boys and girls with appropriate text that quotes Adolf Hitler. The quotes are about the expectations and obligations of HJ and BdM girls and are taken from speeches Hitler gave between 1931 and 1 May 1939 at rallies, in parliament, during the Nazi Party Days and there are even a few from Mein Kampf.

The introduction by Reichsjugendführer Artur Axmann starts with, “Der Führer is our greatest example”. The quotes by Hitler that follow cover loyalty, comradeship, courage, willingness to sacrifice for the greater good and for the nation, belief in the future, leadership and allegiance, Hitler’s goals for the German Youth, and their importance as the building blocks of the future of Germany.

The quotes were assembled by Oberbannführer Gottfried Griesmayer and Der Führer zu deiner Verpflichting was published by the Reichsjugendführung in Berlin. This rare HJ publication printed in Strasbourg, is undated but the last Hitler quote in it is 1 May 1939.
