The subjects on this record include speeches given on occasions such as the book burning at the university of Berlin on 10 May 1933, the opening of the freeway between Frankfurt and Darmstadt in 1935, Nazi Party Days in Nuremberg, election results, war news, theater events, etc. There are also a some musical pieces.

1964 propaganda record with Goebbels speeches

The record was released in Germany by Ariola-Athena in 1964 and looks to be in very good playable condition, without scratches or obvious damage of any kind. We can not see any problems, but we no longer have a record player to test it.

The LP record is titled Joseph Goebbels - Das dritte Reich und seine Propaganda and contains a compilation of speeches, music and radio broadcasts by the Nazi Minister of Volksaufklärung und Propaganda (National Enlightenment and Publicity) dating between 1933 and 1945. The last one is dated 19 April 1945, a radio broadcast the day before Adolf Hitler’s 56th and last birthday.

The second item in this Goebbels propaganda lot is an original 8-3/4 x 12-1/8 inch (22-½ x 30-½ cm) Third Reich framable color print with a patriotic propaganda quote by Dr. Goebbels. It translates as “Everything we own we have fought for, created and constructed as a free people. Without freedom it would lose its meaning, its goal and also its purpose.”

It is beautifully printed by the well-known German graphics and publishing company Wittig-Friesen, and it is in very nice condition. Similar to a Wochenspruch der NSDAP, but not so marked.
