Most collectors of Third Reich books are familiar with the Hoffmann Bildbände, the superb photo books published by Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann.

Offered for sale on this USMBOOKS web page is one of the rarest and earliest Third Reich Hoffmann photo books called Der Parteitag des Sieges Nürnberg 1933. This is a FIRST EDITION example of the photo book about the "Nazi Party Day of Victory" held in Nuernberg in the fall of 1933, with its rare original dust jacket and the huge 9 x 37 inch fold-out in the back of the book. Many collectors have only heard about this book but have never seen a copy. It is rarely offered for sale, especially not in this fine condition!

After an introduction by Hitler Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach, this book perfectly illustrates the first Reichsparteitag held in Nuremberg after the National Socialist government of Adolf Hitler was elected to power. There are 100 spectacular photographs of Adolf Hitler with Nürnberg Mayor Willy Liebel, many with Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess, Hitler with Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler, Ernst Röhm and the Blood Flag, with Nazi Finance Minister Schwarz, surrounded by seas of huge swastika flags, during the SA-Appell with Stabchef der SA Röhm, etc.

The rare book also includes photo of Julius Streicher during the 1933 Nazi Party Days, Hermann Göring, Obergruppenführer Litzmann, Obergruppenführer Hühnlein, Propaganda Minister Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Dr. Frank, Dr. Frick, Reichswehrminister von Blomberg, Oberbürgermeister Fiehler of Munich, Gauleiter Josef Bürckel, Minister Bernard Rust, German Bank President Dr. Hjalmar Schacht, National Socialists from Austria and Switzerland, and the SA, SS and Hitler's Leibstandarte marching through the inner city of Nürnberg.

This superb original 1933 book measures 7-1/8 x 9-¾ inches, has 60 photo filled pages and is complete with the huge 9 x 37 inch fold-out that is often missing. The fold-out is in very good condition, not all taped together.  The book is in very good, little used condition and comes with its original dust jacket which is also in very good used condition, considering this book is over 80 years old!   Name and 1933 Christmas dedication on back side of title page in pencil.
