The scale of this Nazi era map is 1:30,000 000 and it was printed by Grossdruckerei Carl Warnecke of Halle on the Saale river in eastern Germany. This 75+ year old KLV Hitlerjugend color map is in very nice used condition exactly as shown - no tears, no tape, no writing, no pin holes. Very historic!

KLV 1940 Arbeitskarte für Kriegsgeschehen

This is a very rare Third Reich map produced to educate Hitler Youth members in a Kinderlandverschickung-Lager about the war in the Pacific. The Kinderlandverschickung (KLV) was a World War II Nazi program (similar to those in Britain) that evacuated German children from big cities to the countryside for safety and health reasons. The KLV was affiliated with the Hitler Youth and this color map was produced for the Nazi Reichsjugendführung, the HJ Leadership, by Oberbannführer Dabel.

This big 28-1/2 x 34 inch, one-sided Nazi color map is titled Arbeitskarte für Kriegsgeschehen showing Asia, Australia and the Pacific Ocean, as well as India and parts of the Soviet Union and USA. It says on it that it was verboten to reproduce it!
