This is a real World War II era German Tellermine or Teller mine T.Mi.35, inert, deactivated, with no explosive content whatsover. It was apparently used at one time to teach people about Teller mines. We bought it at auction and there is no doubt that it has been repainted. The fuse is also inert and the mine is now entirely a curio and can not be remade into an explosive device. From the outside it still looks like a mine.
This T.Mi.35 Teller or "Dinner Plate" mine is about 3-1/2 inches deep, about 12-1/4 inches in diameter, has a handle on one side and threaded pull ports on one side and on the bottom. It weighs approximately six pounds. The 1-3/4 inch cap that originally fit over the top of the fuse is missing. The inside is empty.
We sell this dewat mine as a curio that would look nice in any collection of World War 2 German field equipment. Available only to destiations in the USA.
