This lot consists of two rare illustrated Third Reich publications, teaching material for members of the Bund deutscher Mädel (BdM or League of German Girls) and Evangelical German Girls in the city of Braunschweig.

Deutsche Mädchen-Zeitung or German Girls Newspaper is a 6 x 9-¼ inch, 30-page evangelical publication from Braunschweig dated January 1934. It has a Heinrich Hoffmann photo of Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler on the cover and several illustrated pages about Adolf Hitler. Other subjects covered are the eternal importance of God, love of the nation by Evangelical Youth, marriage, You and Your Bible, etc.
The second booklet in this lot is a Sonderheft or special edition of Die Mädelschaft dated 23 January 1939 and titled Wir bauen für den Führer (We Build for the Führer). Published by the Reichsjugendführung der NSDAP in Berlin, this original 6 x 8-7/8 inch, 24 page Third Reich educational booklet starts with a quote by Adolf Hitler about the important educational aspect of Hitler Youth Homes, followed by an inspirational quote by Hitler Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach about the importance of the Nazi Youth community and movement under the leadership of Adolf Hitler.

This original 83 year old example of Die Mädelschaft is complete and in very nice, little-used condition. It has no writing and no unpleasant odor.

Both illustrated booklets are absolutely original to the Third Reich and very good examples of National Socialist ideology for German girls.

Evangelical Youth and Women Leader Maria Stehmann was responsible for the content, and this rare 88 year old example of Deutsche Mädchen-Zeitung was printed Buchdruckerei Gutemberg in Berlin.

It is complete, a bit fragile due to age but in nice used condition. It has no writing and no unpleasant odor.
