This sort of rare 4 x 5-1/2 inchs two-sided postcard was printed during the Third Reich for use by victims and survivors of Allied bombing raids to help them let family members and loved ones know they were alright, or where they had relocated to, IN TEN WORDS OR LESS.
This example of a Nazi Lebenszeichen or Sign of Life card was sent to a Fräulein in Ludwigshafen on 10 September 1994, letting her know that the senders were Mit Gottes Hilfe gesund or "healthy with God's help", apparently after they had survived a bombing raid. Good used condition.
