This is a wonderful 13-1/2 x 18 inch, two-sided, original multi-color map of München (Munich), the Capital of the Nazi Movement, as sponsored by famous SA, SS, HJ and BdM uniform maker, Loden-Frey.

SA SS uniform advertisement
Loden-Frey is still in business in München, Germany, manufacturing high quality wool coats. When this map was printed some time after 1937, their business was heavily NSDAP paramilitary uniforms for the Schutzstaffeln (SS or Protective Squads), Sturmabteilung (SA or Storm Detachments), Hitler Jugend (HJ or Hitler Youth), the Bund deutscher Mädel (BdM or League of German Girls), etc., as evidenced by the period advertisement at the left.
NSDAP Braunes Haus in München
The map is contained in a 4-1/2 x 7 inch Loden Frey folder. The map side is very detailed, covering only the important center of the city. All of the old sights are depicted and special red numbers point out Nazi sights such as the Ehrentempel for the martyrs of the “Beer Hall Putsch”, the Nazi Party’s Braunes Haus, and Adolf Hitler’s House of German Art.
The original owner of this map lightly marked the route of the Putsch from the Bürgerbräukeller on Rosenheimerstraße to the Feldherrnhalle on the Odeonsplatz in pencil. On the backside of the map there are photographs of the Braunes Haus, Feldherrnhalle, House of German Art, Deutsches Museum as well as the factory and showrooms of Loden-Frey in München.
