A painting by Kriegsberichter Erich Cleff was used to produce this portrait of Luftwaffe fighter ace Helmut Paul Emil Wick, the fourth recipient of the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub. He received his Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves from Adolf Hitler himself at the Berghof on 8 September 1940. The 25 year old leading German fighter pilot was shot down near the Isle of Wight on 28 November 1940 and was listed as Missing in Action and presumed dead. This Nazi era color portrait is in very good condition. |

A painting by Kriegsberichter Erich Cleff was used to produce this portrait of German World War II flying ace Josef 'Pips' Priller (1915 - 1961), wearing his Luftwaffe uniform and many decorations. Priller was also the recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and later its higher grade, the Oak Leaves and Swords, recognizing extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. After his 1307 combat missions and 101 victories during World War II, Priller became a beer brewer in civilian life. This Nazi era color portrait is in very good condition. |

A painting by Kriegsberichter Erich Cleff was used to produce this portrait of German World War II flying ace and leader of Jagdgeschwader 26, Gerhard Schöpfel (1912 - 2003). He also received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, on 11 September 1944, and ended up a Soviet Prisoner of War. He was released by the Soviets and returned to Germany in December 1949. This Nazi era color portrait is in very good condition. |

WERNER MÖLDERS |
The Erich Cleff painting of Oberst Werner Mölders shows the famous Luftwaffe pilot and the leading German fighter ace in uniform, wearing his many decorations including his Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Swords and Oak Leaves, the Spanish Cross in Gold for his service in the Legion Condor, Wound Badge, Pilot Observation Badge, etc. Mölders died in a plane crash at Breslau on the way to the funeral of Ernst Udet on 22 November 1941. He was buried next to Ernst Udet and Manfred von Richthofen at the Invalidenfriedhof in Berlin. Nazi Air Minister Hermann Göring gave the eulogy, and Adolf Galland was a member of Guard of Honor. |
