This Third Reich color map has a close-up view of the Ruhrgebiet, the industrial area that includes the cities of Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Lüdenscheid and Solingen as well as highway exit close-ups for the cities of Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Cologne.
This 75+ year old Verkehrskarte von Grossdeutschland was printed at the excellent scale of 1: 500,000 (1 cm = 5 km). It is in very good used condition with bright colors and without any repairs. The cover folder shows wear.

This original 8-1/4 x 9-1/2 inch card stock folder contains a huge 26 x 30 inch color map of Germany. It shows freeways, connector highways and railway lines as well as stretches of Adolf Hitler's freeway system, the Reichsautobahn that were finished, under construction, or planned. The map was intended for use for travel by car, bicycle and train. It was printed after April 1938 but before the fall of 1939 as Austria is shown as part of Hitler's Greater Germany. Poland, the cities of Danzig and Königsberg on the Baltic coast however, were not yet part of Nazi Germany.
