This is a very rare original heavily photographic annual report called Ein Jahr NS-Fliegerkorps 1937-1938 (The Year's Activities of the National Socialist Flying Corps 1937 - 1938) looking back on the first year of existence of the NS-Fliegerkorps. Following photos of German Chancellor and Nazi Führer Adolf Hitler and Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Göring, is the Adolf Hitler proclamation of the founding of the NSFK and its purpose, as well as an introduction by Luftwaffe General and NSFK-Korpsführer Friedrich Christiansen.

The 8-1/4 x 11-5/8 inch, 48 page softcover book then shows and explains the activities of the NSFK in its first year, 1937-1938. There are pictures of all manner of troops and officers as well as aviation equipment and planes and gliders of all sorts, even NSFK troops on skis! Sail planes and their competitions are covered in great detail (including the famous 1937 Deutschlandflug) as are youth programs with sail planes and powered model aircraft. There is a chapter on Freiballon (hot air balloons) as well.

The book ends with a look back at the NSFK's first year and looks forward to their participation "shoulder to shoulder" with the SA, SS and NSKK in Germany's return to the status of a world power.

A rare oversized Nazi aviation book published by the Führerkorps of the NS Fliegerkorps in Berlin, complete and in very nice condition.
