This is a Second Edition of Panzerjäger brechen durch! published by the Central Publishing House of the Nazi Party, Franz Eher Nachfolger of Munich in 1940. It is dedicated to two tank commanders, Major Karl Rau and Major Otto Hilgers.
It is complete with the frequently missing fold-out map of the West Front inside the back cover.
This 81 year old 6 x 8-7/8 inch, 256-page blue linen hardcover example of Panzerjäger brechen durch! is in very nice used condition. No odor.
Panzerjäger brechen durch! (Breakthrough of the Tank Destroyers) is subtitled “Experiences of a Company in the Greater German Battle for Freedom 1939/40”, as told by German journalist, author (and close collaborator of Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels) Alfred-Ingemar Berndt. Berndt, who held various high positions in the Nazi Propaganda Ministry, is also a creator of the German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel "Desert Fox" myth (the British simply picked up the "Desert Fox” name and heavily publicized it).
