This is a nice used example of the absolutely outstanding book Schnellboote Vor! (PT Boats Advance!) by Hugo Bürger as published by Gerhard Stalling Verlag in Oldenburg, Germany in 1943.
The book contains 104 black & white pictures of the Nazi PT boat service and 11 in full-color.

Following a brief introduction by the leader of the Nazi patrol-torpedo boat service, this book gets right to the subject of the duties and combat experience of those men in the Schnellboot service during the Third Reich. Better yet are the dozens upon dozens of photographs showing every aspect of the service from the emblems painted on the boats to the mascots carried aboard.
There are pictures of the boats camouflaged and lying in coastal anchorage, pictures of the crews arming and firing torpedos, the engine room, the clothing and equipment used and souvenirs acquired by the men. There are close-ups of the torpedo tubes, opened and closed, the men's dining and sleeping accommodations on board, the engineering and commanding staff and their accommodations, as well as crew members interfacing with the populations where they served. There is even a photo of the men helping to maneuver a Nazi submarine into a wharf. Amazing material!
The book is in nice used condition and it appears that the spine has been re-taped with regular black binding tape.
