This is an absolutely authentic pair of gray cotton lined black leather U-Boot (Nazi submarine) uniform pants manufactured in October 1942 by Czulik & Langer of Proßnitz, Germany. The size indicated on the label is 46.
The pants have all six suspender buttons and an adjustment belt on the back. There are slash pockets on both sides in front and a four-button and one hook fly.
As everybody knows the people who manned submarines were small and these pants have a 31 inch waist and 31 inch inseam. They are in like-new condition with the following minor flaws: a 1/2 inch arrowhead shaped scar in the black surface of the leather on the back of the left thigh, knee marks in both legs from sitting down when the legs of the pants were wet, and some dye spots on the left side of the rear - the obvious result of someone servicing the pants as you would service shoes.
The pants show virtually no wear and they have never been dirty or cleaned.
