Lot #81 - left, consists of an unused Deutsche Lufthansa postcard featuring Adolf Hitler and Hermann Göring at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin in 1938, surrounded by BdM girls offering flowers. This 70 year old postcard was never mailed but has yellowed with age.

This web page contains Third Reich postcards produced for Deutsche Lufthansa, the national German airline. Originally they came in a booklet with perforations separating the Ansichtskarten. Each measures 110 x 145 mm and has an image related to aviation in the Third Reich. All the Deutsche Lufthansa postcards offered here have blank backs, they were never mailed. The back of each postcard has a paragraph of Deutsche Lufthansa advertising (upper left corner - see example below) and a paragraph describing the photo on the front (lower left corner - see example below).

Lot #85 - left, consists of an unused Deutsche Lufthansa postcard showing Adolf Hitler and Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Göring shaking hands at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin in 1938. This 70 year old postcard was never mailed but has yellowed with age.
