This lot consists of 87 very rare original examples of Facts in Review, the English language illustrated magazine published in 1939, 1940 and 1941 by the German Library of Information in New York, New York, USA.
Nazi magazines
Each magazine measures 8-1/2 x 11 inches and most issues contain from about 8 to 40 illustrated pages of the very latest news, historical overviews, and general information about Germans and Germany from the point of view of the Nazi leadership of that country.

Individual issues of Facts in Review are very, very hard to find of course, as no one in America wanted to be seen reading one after Germany declared war on the United States in December 1941. We have watched as occasional copies have turned up on auction sites like eBay and selling for as much as $50.00 each. A large, nearly complete lot of Facts in Review magazines such as we offer here, is virtually unobtainable today.
Facts in Review is the name of a Nazi magazine produced by the German Library of Information at 17 Battery Place in New York City prior to the start of WW2. The contents of each issue usually covers matters of politics, war, new products, movies, books, art, science, etc. Most issues contain a radio guide called Germany Calling, listing all the programs broadcast in German and English each day from Berlin to North America. Another regular feature is “What Germany Hears and Says”, an excellent recap of news from Germany written in superb English.
Facts in Review 1941
